Topic:  The Friends of the North Sarasota Library will sponsor an exhibit:  Newtown:  Then and Now as a part of Black History month.  The opening reception will be held February 4, 2011 from 4-5:30 PM at the library.  The committee members are still accepting photographs and artifacts that residents might be willing to share as part of the exhibit.  For more information, call 861-1370.
